PERMANENT SOLUTION TO SEWAGE WORKS PROBLEMS
Years of problems with obnoxious odours from a sewage works in Clydebank could soon be over.
Scottish Water has announced plans for further substantial improvements at the Dalmuir Waste Water Treatment Works in the town.
After hundreds of complaints from local residents, the Utility giant introduced a new treatment process at the works in 2010.
They say the trial has been running successfully using a temporary facility, which is now to be made permanent.
Gil Paterson, the MSP for Clydebank and Milngavie, visited the works this week.
