PLANS FOR KIDSTON PARK GIVEN THE GO-AHEAD
Plans to open a cafe at Kidston Park have been given the go-ahead and it is due to open in late spring this year.
Argyll and Bute Council's planning committee unanimously agreed to grant Gare Loch View Limited permission to convert the existing public toilets into a family-friendly cafe with children's play area.
The owner will also have responsibility over public toilets at the cafe.
Although there were 10 objections from 11 people, who voiced concerns over possible anti-social behaviour and litter which could stem from the development.
