SECOND ARREST IN GREENOCK MURDER PROBE

A second man has been arrested in connection with the death of a Greenock man.

24 year old Andrew Docherty, appeared at Greenock Sheriff Court yesterday charged with the murder of Brian Docherty.

Mr Docherty's remains were discovered in his Clynder Road home last Tuesday.

A 25-year-old man has also been arrested and is presently detained in police custody in connection with the death.

He's expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court later today.
