SKATE PARK LOSES LICENSE

A skate park in Dumbarton has had its public entertainment license renewal rejected by the local authority

The Unit 23 Skate Park on Castlegreen Street in Dumbarton East is at the centre of an investigation by police, who allege that the park is financially benefiting a businessman with criminal links.

Officers insist Stephen King became the park's landlord in January 2009 and collects the rent.

Police shut down King's former private taxi firm Castle Cabs earlier this year.
