He once graced the Cappielow pitch but Paul McGowan helped put his old club to the sword in the Renfrewshire Cup Final last night.

The match between Morton and St Mirren ended goalless resulting in spot kicks.

Graeme Holmes and Kevin Kelbie missed for the Ton as the Buddies won 4-3.

Tonight, see's Dumbarton host Junior outfit Clydebank in a pre-season friendly.

The game kicks off at 7:30.
