SONS HAMMERED WHILE TON LOSE TO RAITH

It was a weekend to forget for Dumbarton and Morton.

The Sons suffered a crushing six nil defeat at the hands of East Fife.

It leaves Jim Chapman's men rooted to the bottom of the Second Division after enduring four defeats on the bounce.

Morton meanwhile lost by a goal to nil at First Division table toppers Raith.
