SONS BEAT TRANSFER DEADLINE TO SIGN DONS DEFENDER

Aberdeen defender Stirling Smith has signed for struggling Dumbarton on a one month loan deal.

The 19-year old has progressed through the Dons youth system and has earned a call up to the Scotland U19s.

A left-sided player, Smith can operate as a centre back or at full back.
