FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL GIVEN THE GO-AHEAD

Plans to host football matches on a Friday night have been given the go-ahead.

Following close cooperation and consultation with Strathclyde Police, Lothian and Borders Police, the SFL have announced the next Friday Night Football match.

This follows the success of the two SFL Friday night matches played earlier this season including a match between Greenock Morton and Partick Thistle in October.

The IRN-BRU Scottish Football League First Division match between Livingston and Hamilton Accies will now take place on Friday 16th March, at The Braidwood Motor Company Stadium in Livingston.
